As a random aside, I'd like to give a big EN shout out to Ohio eventing. I was born in Ohio and lived there longer than I have lived in any other state. Unfortunately, those were my pre-eventing years and I have only competed at one event in Ohio. Glad to see Ohio back eventing after the long winter.
Events This Weekend
Just wanted to give you a big thank you for the coverage on Ohio eventing. As a native of Ohio I really appreciate the mention of our midwest state. Ohio offers lots of lower level eventing to put good, solid basics on horses. One of the most exciting events I've attended is the South Farm horse trials. There always seems to be quite a large turnout so who knows, maybe one day Ohio will becoem an eventing hot spot.
Anyway, thank you so much for the coverage of smaller area eventing! EN is great!! :)
Best of luck HER, Jackie is a good friend of ours at Eventing Nation and she does indeed put on a super event and deserves our thanks for her service to eventing in so many ways. Now--EN will be expecting a full report on Monday from the event :)
You are more than welcome OhioNative. There are so many great events and eventing locations that never get coverage from the national eventing media. We do what we can with our limited resources here at EN, but I hope to do better in the future.

On the topic of Ohio...we are on our way to Winona, and I believe that last year was their 25 anniversary of having a horse trial, making it one of the longer running trials. Big shout out for Jackie and her family for always putting on such a quality event!
