More friends make us happy

eventingnationposterlogo.jpg

May is indeed reader appreciation month here on Eventing Nation, and I want to say thanks to all of our incredible readers.  Eventing Nation has the most intelligent, informed, involved, and insider audience anywhere online--if you can find me a snowboarding website that Shaun White and his biggest fan both have as their homepage, let me know.

As an example of how cool our readers are, McKenna, a regular EN commenter, uploaded the above photo onto our new Facebook fanpage.  The night I got home from Jersey, I was feeling exhausted and completely burt out, but I logged onto our fanpage, saw that photo, and it was the most amazing feeling in the world.   I am so proud that Eventing Nation's readers are our contributors, that our commenters are our writers, and that our heroes are also our readers.

Click 6 buttons--If you don't feel like spending hours writing an article for EN or making EN posters in photoshop, there is a fast and simple way you can contribute to Eventing Nation and help us grow.

(1) Facebook fan: click *here, and then click 'like' at the top of our fanpage--we created a new fanpage a couple of weeks ago, which is different from the EN Facebook 'friend' page that already has 1050 friends.

(2) Facebook friend: click *here and then click 'add as friend'--if you haven't already, it will never be easier than right now.  You can be extra cool by suggesting your friends become our fans or our friends.

(3) Twitter: go to *www.twitter.com/eventingnation and then click 'follow'--Eventing Nation is new to Twitter, but like anything we do, we are learning fast and you don't want to miss the ride.

If every one of our readers today takes one minute total to click those buttons, Eventing Nation's social network will double today.  Let's Go Eventing Nation!!

I just sent invitations to the fan page to all my eventing friends on Facebook! You guys are seriously my favorite website right now :-)

this made my day :)glad I made ya happy John!! ;)
yes I agree with Heidi eventnation is totally the best website ever...i check it all the time hahaha I amm sooo glad I ran into it! Go eventing!! by the way It's Karen and Mandiba in case anyone was wondering.....

I did the face book stuff but not the twitter - I am not signing up to it sorry. I am here at least once an hour as it is. lol!!!

So, I am the evil HR Manager in my office...annnnd I had to block Facebook...because the staff were all spending too much time on it and not doing their work...so I will do it when I get home after the barn!
Humm - I'd better be careful and make sure they don't block EN seeing as I am clearly spending too much time on it and not doing MY work...

>>andrea: no worries, I didn't expect anyone to sign up for Twitter just to follow EN, although one person emailed me to say that's exactly what she did...

>>clb: orrrr you could make it mandatory that everyone in you office visits EN at least once a day. EN has been statistically proven to improve morale and productivity, along with lowering dressage scores.

Oooooo - That's a great suggestion Anonymous!!! Although, I don't want to have to try and explain the whole Eventing is like Golf thing again....these guys are accountants and give me the blank stare as soon as I start to try and explain to them what it is I do...(No offence accountants...)
Wait - didn't I read somewhere along the line that it is also statistically proven that you won't have any XC faults if you visit here at least once a day...?
(Now, if I had to "guess" who you are...wasn't there also just a post about NOT posting as Anonymous...hummm?!!!)

Please everyone, make more pictures like McKenna's and post on Facebook. (That way John won't keep using my poor donations!) I would LUFF to see some really neat ones. We'll get them on Cafe Press and get t-shirts, and bumper stickers!

retreadeventer- you make the other ones?? Yours are awesome too!! Hahaha now I know that when I'm board I shall make some more...I made another one earlier except it's not quite finished....editing photos is great when you're bored ;)

Done, done, done. All 3 clicked. :0)

>>clb: you caught me! For some reason my browser logged me out as I was posting the 4:30pm comment. That's the second time in the last week that has happened, and yes, it's great timing since Vis. just posted about not commenting anonymously! Fortunately, I think it was pretty easy to see that it was me.

>>retread: your pictures are amazing, and the photo in our header background is yours--so you have ENK for life.

>>Heidi and JRed: you guys are awesome!

Now, the $64,000 question: when I post this will it show up as 'John' this time?

I desire no minor youngs lady working here, no one should be forcibly working here... I want to shut down this place !.
