Spectacular, incredible, amazing! Landon Donovan scored a rebound goal in the 91st minute of play to give the US an incredible 1-0 victory of Algeria and advance the US onto the next round of the World Cup. The US had been denied all day by bad luck and bad calls and, with the win by England over Slovakia, the US would have been eliminated with a tie. Go USA!

Proof that eventers are as au courant as anybody else, and than I need no other website than Eventing Nation!
I was so excited when this went in. It took them FOREVER to get this goal. Donovan has been one of my favorites for the passed couple of years. I'm glad that it was him to get the goal. Though Dempsey deserved one as well since they took it away from him in the first half with a bogus off-sides call.
After the game I went out and hugged my horses. They weren't sure what I was so excited about.
