Video Saturday - Pony Tales

Last week, we featured the Connemara pony. This week, ponies take the stage yet again. Watch these videos, and then tell us about your favorite pony in the comment section!

There was a little kid, who had a little pony named Ed.

When Ed was good, he was very very good. But when he was bad he was horrid.

Got the weekend blues? Try happily running in circles.

Many of us are familiar with the Chincoteague Pony Swim from the Misty of Chincoteague book series. Swimming the ponies across the channel from Assateague Island has been a tradition on Chincoteague Island since 1925.  Most of the proceeds from the auction go towards getting the fire department new equipment.

My Little Pony, My Little Pony, My Little Pony Tales!!!!!  What, like you didn't live for it?

Check out this amazing pony jumper, "Swingalittle", listed on Sport Horse Nation.

THE Pony.

That pony is sooo naughty, but the girl will be a better rider for it. Or at least a more appreciative one.

I watched it the other day and it had me cracking up. The pony getting down to roll is priceless and the pony is typical of all the opinionated welsh mountains I dealt with. Good on the kid for keeping going. Hes a brave little rider.

Well my favorite pony would have to be, mine, Dorito...you may have seen him on EN when we've been featured or in my guest writing for OCET Camp. He is really the best and he tries so hard for me, and I know he loves his job. Our recent move up to novice at fair hill was awesome and the whole hack back from XC his ears were pricked and he was walking with that confident stride, if that doesn't say I love my job, then I don't know what does...oh and the fact that he almost/does rear up in the start box :) haha

those Ed videos are hilarious!Especially the part where the pony lies down! That poor kid! What a good rider he'll come to be! I can relate to the falling off thing....I have fallen off Dorito 30 times in the 3 1/2 years I've had him....the joys of ponies! :)

Go Ross! to another trainer.

Marty, I am assuming that Ed and Ross are in the UK where there is less of a trainer culture. That pony is hilarious, I used to know one just like that. I don't understand all the uproar on the forums (although the getting dragged bit made me CRINGE)

While I do think Ed needs a beating. . . my favorite pony is my very own, a 13.2 welsh section B. He foundered with his former owner, and we have spent the last 10 months getting acquainted. He's teaching me to drive, and today all our hard work paid off as we made our debut/re-debut at a schooling mini-CDE. A very respectable dressage score (they tell me for driving it was quite good - it will take awhile to readjust my thinking from eventing), only one ball on cones and we had a blast on the hazards. The blue ribbon was icing on the cake! Thank you Bryn!!

Watching the video of Teddy always bring tears to my eyes. I hope he's galloping and playing and romping freely in heaven.

Go eventing!

Ed needs to come to what we refer to as 'Auntie Chelan's charm school' AKA I'm scarier than the jump, you had breakfast this morning, get the bleep over the fence! Very amusing of course.. Reminds me of my first pony. What the Hell were our parent's all thinking?!?

That naughty pony video was super. Great for some giggles and I'm so impressed with that little boy.
