Got questions about the PHC, the ERA, or the PRO? Ask the boys tonight? What it feels like to be selected to represent your country? Ditto. Juggling family life with horses as a career? The difference between getting horses fit in the Southern US and the South of England - the weather, the footing - how big a factor are they? Jon's involvement in Equiventures, the Ocala Horse Trials and the Derby on thursday? What do they look for in a potential four star horse? Francis' Badminton plans and Olympic hopes? Their philosophies on training and teaching? Or do you just want to know their favourite film, book or what they do to relax? Log in to Eventing Nation at 6pm tonight and ask the experts, it's all part of the service! Go Eventing!

If you, like Coren, don't have anything to do with your Friday night, then come spend it with Clark Montgomery and Francis Whittington right here on Eventing Nation. Francis is at Carl Bouckaert's Chattahoochee Hills this weekend for a clinic that Samantha organized and Clark is of course based out of Chattahoochee Hills full time. We're all getting together this evening for a live chat on all things eventing related, including but not limited to their quest for the Olympics, Francis' leadership of the Event Riders Association in England, eventing in the US versus the UK, and Hawley Bennett's tattoos. We only have everyone booked for 30 minutes so be here on time and hopefully the EN servers will do us justice.
6pm ET tonight -- be here and go eventing.

Please join me, Coren, and Annie tonight as we chat about all things eventing and of course there will be non-eventing topics as well. It has been a busy past few days around the eventing world with David making his FEI presidency endorsement, Al scratching from Pau, Remington shipping off for France, and Chattahoochee Hills getting ready to start this week. On top of it all, Oliver Townend was just announced as the keynote speaker at this year's USEA convention. Please join in on the conversation with your questions and comments and I'll do my best to keep us on topic.
Update: Lainey just posted a new blog entry about her scratch from Pau
In what might be the start of a new EN tradition, we have scheduled a live blog for 7:00pm tonight. It will last for about 30 minutes and, like last week, I will be joined by other members of the EN team. We'll chat about the past week, look ahead to the upcoming three-days, chat about Halloween costumes, and I'm sure much more ridiculousness will ensue. Gather your friends, family, cats, dogs, small domestic rodents, and horses, and join us at 7:00pm ET. Go eventing.

Recap: We were joined tonight by Fair Hill CCI3* champion Hannah Burnett and Sinead Halpin who has just returned to New Jersey from her Boekelo trip. We learned that Hannah and Sinead are both hoping to go to Rolex, talked about how to become a working student at OCET, heard about Hanna's dating life, and learned what Sinead's worst eventing injury was. After Hannah and Sinead left, EN writers Annie Yeager and Coren Morgan jumped in and things got exciting from there. We ended up chatting for most of the time about labor strikes, accents making up for waistlines, and travel grants. I do apologize for the ads when you open the live blog--they are included in the live blog software--and I have not yet found a better company to provide the live blogs. Thanks to everyone who joined us!

As always, we will mix in jump by jump commentary with general discussion so please write your comments/questions. Comments are moderated so it might take me some time to post specific ones.
3:00pm update: I decided it would be most appropriate to sign off of the live blog after Jennifer Simmons and JB's Star fell at fence 17 and were transported away. There were 12 riders left to go after Jennifer and we will have more information on the final riders shortly.

I can see the first and last parts of the course, but I will be using Brian's announcing as my eyes and ears for the rest.
I am very pleased to announce that we will be live blogging the entire World Equestrian Games eventing competition in cooperation with the USEA. Emily Daily and I will be starting bright and early with the first dressage rider at 9am on Thursday and we will cover the entire WEG eventing competition through the show jumping on Sunday--all of it completely live. The live blog feed will be available on both Eventing Nation and the USEA's website. Anyone who has followed the live competition blogs on Eventing Nation, such as from Fair Hill, Rolex, or Jersey knows that they are a fun way to keep updated on the competition from afar. The live blogs are interactive with moderated comments from readers, so please bring your questions and EN shout-outs. To get a feel for the format, check out this example from Fair Hill. I'll just go ahead and apologize in advance for my typso. Please join us and go eventing.
