Description: Now I know what you are going to say..4yr TB that's chestnut, is a filly, 15.3 now looks like she will go over 16.H? So what, You don't ride the color or the sex and size only matters when your standing on the ground. You ride the brain and the horse.

She is so darn fluid and has natural balance and rhythm already which already puts her heads above. She has good feet and ankle x-rays 12/2012. A nice mouth a real working brain, obviously brave. As you can see in the video clip of her ridden for the 1st time just days off the track.

For those of you not bold enough to want to go to the race track, here's your opportunity to come see her ridden and then ride the horse, watch her loose school and jump. No vices, lovely manners, ships well and is partially let down. She ran 11 times 1/2011 to 11/2012 and is sound. Priced to reflect my taking the risk but affordable for those on a budget. Green enough to make your own, and started enough you can move right along.

From his deep mahogany brown color, large stature, and puppy dog eyes to his sweet and inquisitive nature, Gus draws people to him. Gus is 7 years old, 16.2, unraced TB gelding, dark bay with a star. He W/T/C and jumps but is still fairly green and needs more consistency in his life. He has large strides and a very springy trot. Currently out on pasture board and doing well. He is an alpha in the field. He will also try to be alpha under saddle and needs a firm rider who won't let him get away with it. Once he knows you take control he backs off and accepts the #2 position. Even though he's a dominate personality, he is sweet and never malicious. He just tries to not have to work! Description: Durango is a 14 y/o Morgan/Quarter cross gelding that stands 15hh. He will jump anything you point him at & has a lead change. He's been shown at eventing minitrials up to novice level & has schooled some training xc in the past. He was a school horse at Lake Erie College where he was a favorite with the jumper/eventer girls. He requires a rider who understands how to ride from their seat & legs, not hands. He's as easy of keeper as they come (hay only, grazing muzzle in the summer, barefoot all the time). He's good to tie, bathe, vet, farrier etc. He loads on the trailer fine but requires being unloaded & tied to the trailer or put in a stall at shows ( he will not stand on the trailer). Description: Boston No Sox (Boston) is a nine year old, 16.1 hand tall, untattooed throughbred gelding. He has two years of novice competitions under his belt at several different venues in Area 2, with ribbons at several events. Boston is consistently in the top 6 after dressage, is unphased by the cross country questions asked at novice, and easily handles the questions presented in novice stadium. He has successfully schooled training level cross country and has competed in local level training level combined tests. This summer, Boston spent some time in pure dressage world at First Level with some very good results. With some time, Boston could be very successful in pure dressage at First Level and possibly higher. He is a pleasure to ride in the dressage ring and looks for the jumps in stadium and out on the cross country course. But for the lack of confidence by his adult amateur rider, Boston would be happily competing at training level (and possibly has the scope to do more). He was also competed this summer by a junior rider at beginner novice and novice levels. Owner is down sizing her number of horses due to work committments and time constraints. She would like to see the horse with a rider who will be able to ride him to his full potential. Boston is a mild cribber. Current (winter) asking price is $5,000. Price will increase in the spring. Event mare needs a job, many years left

Description: This was my favorite event horse! Melody is 15.3 hand 19-year-old thoroughbred mare and compact like a race car. She loved to jump, XC machine! Great confirmation. Exceptional ground manners. Great for vet, farrier, trailer, trail rides, etc. UTD on shots, teeth, etc. Currently bare foot, has great feet. I moved out of state after retiring her from training level. I recently visited and hopped on her after who knows how long to find that she is still perfect and sound with no maintenance or injections! She needs a job and a loving home. She is so sweet and an easy keeper. Prefers to pasture alone though. No vices nor cribbing. Never bucked or rared. She is a bit out of shape and was a little thin from a family that decided not to keep her. Video shows slight weakness in LH; capped hock. I plan to do a steroid shot to bring it down. She prefers an educated rider with a light hand and light aids. If you turn your head she goes in that direction; very intuitive. She can teach you a lot and would be great for a quiet adult or experienced youth. I'm sure with fitness and maintenance she'd love to jump again too.
